Transcript: Welcome to Citywide

Clinton Askew – Director: Well it started with I guess with being innovative. Everything was pretty much traditional financial services and we really wanted to do something different.

Audrey Wade – Head of Operations: Citywide is a really special firm and I think part of it is the team. The team that have been there a long time and they know the clients so well and they know what they are doing so well.

Mike Proctor – Citywide Client: It wasn’t a hard sell, it was explanation of what the philosophy of Citywide was and then the support team around Clinton was excellent. The documentation that followed was comprehensive and easy to understand and it followed a number of other meetings where it was exploratory really so it wasn’t a hard sell.

Clinton Askew: When we became a service based business and I think as a consequence of that we have kind of developed our values overtime and those values really center around looking after the client.

Chris Mycroft – Citywide Client: Citywide seems to be doing the magic on investments which is very nice. I feel very comfortable and I feel comfortable with the people and their formula for investment impresses me.

Peter Chambers – Citywide Client: I think there is a number of differences, Annie has touched on one which is the personal service that you get and it’s not just from Clinton, as the owner of the business but from it’s staff as well.

Annie Chambers – Citywide Client: I would say holistic because it really is. It embraces the whole of your life.

Clinton Askew: My phrase is to put our arms around the client particularly when the going gets tough for them, most clients have something that happens in life so I always make sure that we look after them when that happens.

Russell Hobbs – Citywide Client: What I think as with everybody, when you set off with virtually nothing and you build up an asset. An asset based situation then you would like to think that you can keep it but secondly to be able to pass it on.

Clinton Askew: Life is not about the money, it’s really about what are you going to do with the rest of your life. I think we make a really profound difference to people. For me it is probably the most important part of what we do.
