Transcript: Meet Our Clients Annie and Peter Chambers
How did you find out about Citywide Financial Partners?
Peter: In the role that I was doing as a coach and a mentor to business people, I would get speakers in on various topics. I felt it would be good for members of my group and I invited him along to a meeting to give a presentation. I liked what I heard and then subsequently became a client as interestingly enough. At least eight or nine other MDs I know have done so as well.
What is your experience of Citywide Financial Partners?
Annie: Refreshing! Absolutely refreshing. I have come across financial advisors before and I haven’t always been that keen on their attitude whereas working with Citywide has been very very different, a very more personal and an approachable process.
What drew you to Citywide Financial Partners?
Peter: I think one of the things that attracted me to Citywide’s philosophy was a book that Clinton gave me about something termed whole of market investment rather than investment in individual shares and the other thing that has been really useful is something that has come out relatively recently which is My Citywide which is an online snapshot that you can see your whole portfolio, your net worth, all the various transactions that you have done on your iPhone or on your iPad or on your computer. That really is helpful, it’s neat. You know where you are all the time.
Why are Citywide Financial Partners different?
Peter: I think there is a number of differences, Annie has touched on one which is the personal service that you get and it’s not just from Clinton, as the owner of the business but from it’s staff as well. They seem to know what you want and what you want to do.
Annie: I would say holistic, because it really is. It embraces the whole of your life.
What are your hopes for the next generation?
Annie: The current climate is difficult for younger people getting mortgages, university fees. So I think financial planning is even more important for young people and that’s why we have encouraged our two to look at Citywide and embrace their philosophy
