Consumers are being encouraged to think about the value of financial planning and to take up the offer of a free session with a local CFPTM via cisi.org/findaplanner or by calling+44 20 7645 0777.
Clinton Askew, CEO and Financial Planner at Citywide Financial Partners, said:
“We are pleased to be offering free one-to-one consultations as part of CISI’s Financial Planning Week 2019. We do things differently at Citywide – we focus on understanding the person as a whole and what they want to achieve before we look at how their money is managed and organised. We aim to empower our clients to live the life they want by helping them understand and plan their finances. The free one hour consultation will allow them to get to know us, and to discover how financial planning could benefit them and their family.”
Jacqueline Lockie CFPTM, Chartered FCSI and CISI Head of Financial Planning said: “Our CFPTM professionals are delighted to help all consumers, no matter what their age or financial circumstances, during these free sessions 7 – 11 October. CFPTM qualified professionals in particular offer a 360-degree, holistic approach, with the ethos very much focused on putting life goals and financial well-being first. Their designation means they approach these important sessions with integrity and sensitivity, aiming to do the right thing for the consumer.
The free, one-hour money management sessions will offer a chance for members of the UK public to have a one-to-one meeting with a qualified CFPTM professional, who will begin by working through an individual’s life goals before helping plan how to achieve them. Financial planning firms will be offering:
- Free consultation surgeries, either in person, via Skype, or over the phone
- ‘Ask a Planner’ online sessions
- Expertise in the shape of articles, blogs, and tips
- Talks at schools or universities across the country about the merits of the financial planning profession as a career
